North Logan, Utah - November 2003
Community Learning Centers (an organization dedicated to using technology to support and foster “life long learning,” innovation, enterpreneurship, business and community development) is pleased to announce the launching of their website, The Entrepreneur Weblog with online access at www.theentrepreneur.org.

“The idea for this project had been ruminating in the minds of more that one person I discovered, when Tom Fairbanks, newly elected president of the North Logan Home Business Association approached me with a manila folder buldging with copies of stories he had found in his previous research.

My main interest had been to just tell the stories of innovative and inventive people living in Cache Valley and around the State of Utah, but as Tom and I also discussed the powerful ideas behind entrepreneurship and collaborative marketing, we both agreed that all three must be included - innovation, entrepreneurship and collaborative marketing - regardless of their geographical impact and location.

The purpose of this project is three-fold: first, we want to share inspirational stories of courageous men and women, past and present, with the next generation; second, we want to capture and highlight lessons from failures, as well as from successes, and use them in helping the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators and collaborative marketers; and third, we want to devote a substantial portion of the proceeds from this project to our sister organization, Community Support Foundation.” - Dell K. Allen

Since we are always on the lookout for exemplary examples of “Good Business”, we hope you will take a moment to register and participate in spotlighting those who promote innovation, entrepreneurship and collaborative marketing.
